I don't believe there is an instant fuel economy. If there is, I haven't found it yet.

 

Cycle through your evic, its there. Mine shows it instantly as im driving and changes with my driving

 

I thought I had seen someone mention it before but I can't find it in mine. I wonder if they deleted it in 2008. It's in the regular EVIC & not the extended EVIC right?

 

Yea, you need to get to the section that shows how many miles you have until empty, and cycle through there

 

I'll have to try that. Unfortunately, because my brand new Charger had a knick on the inside of the door when I picked it up that's being repaired at the dealer right now I can't check. Can anyone with a 2008 confirm this?

 

Maybe it was deleted in 08 because I'm fairly sure I don't have one

 

i have a 2007. never seen it.

 

2007's with EVIC have this feature, don't know about 2008's ...

I even made a short video of the numbers moving like crazy with the MDS off, and traveling about 25-30 mph lightly on gas ...

I agree....thats where I found mine ('08)....when on that screen with the bar graph in the diag or extended EVIC, use the right arrow to toggle between the avg mpg & the display where is shows both avg & instant

it not on the 06 model. If i right arrow it on the avg mpg, it would just clear the avg mpg.

 

Press and hold the two bottom inside buttons on your steering wheel if you have EVIC for about 5 seconds or so. Then go to the screen that shows you if you are in performance mode or economy mode. It will have a bar that moves back and forth. Press the top botton that looks like a play button or right arrow. Then on the bottom of the screen you should have your average fuel economy to the left and your instant on the right. I have an 07 daytona and I have the instant fuel economy but I found it by accident.

Ok, after playing with my EVIC over the course of a 13 hour drive to Florida I'm reasonably sure I don't have an instant fuel economy display... any of the ways people said to pull it up.

 

Help Required,

Tell me one thing. I have 2013 model Toyota corolla and my car is not giving me a good mileage on petrol. Why..... How can I increase my car fuel average?
