Is the bushing that is on the lower control arm the same bushing that is on the radius rod?

My radius rod bushing are shot and need to be replaced and a buddy of mine just recently bought pedders for his control arm bushings and had brand new bushings sitting around. Are they the same?

There is finally a choice other than Pedders! I'll try to post a link when I'm not on my phone...
Thanks for the response...but I need to know if the bushing that is on the lower control arm is the same for the radius rod?

Also Energy Suspensions is another option for the LX cars, they manufacture the bushings for pedders so......much cheaper for the samething.

Not sure on the bushings as the Service Manual does not spec the sizes. So unless someone who has them out chimes in on their sizes...dont know what to tell ya

I just lost my front Pedder's bushings when I changed out tensin struts and control arms, ect. I purchased the Street II w/ sway bars for about 2,300.00...that was a hell of a deal, as it included all major bushings, coil overs and sway bars. However it is super expensive to buy their bushings individually. I got the front end bushing kit from Energy at 136.00...it even had extra bushings for the LCA and TS...one each extra!! However if you have the UCA from SPC they have a proprietary bushing size, and I have not found a poly bushing for that one yet. Poly bushings are the first thing to change out, provided your LCAs, UCAs, TS ect,ect are good, cause I cried when I lost those Pedder's bushings when I changed out entire front end.

For the price of the pedders front tension rod bushings....they should either make them so where they can be reusable, or design a tension rod with their bushings to where the ball joint can be replaced.

individually bought, you actually pay more for the bushings than you do an entire NEW 2 Tension rod with brand new stock bushings...

dont get me wrong, the performance is great, but for the price of the bushing, the install, etc...the new energy bushing kit is rediculously lower in price.

also i think the Extra bushings you got, were for the lower control arm.

theres supposed to be 8 bushings.

FRONT END CONTROL ARM BUSHING SET
8 BUSHINGS
2 tension rods
2 lower control arm
4 upper control arm = 8 bushings total.

remember pedders used to use the same bushings in the tension rod and lower control spots...:bigthumb:

I got 12 total bushings...don't know why, but after pressing in evrything, I still have two extra LCA and two extra TS....
