How do I get into the Uconnect menu to do a complete reset?

The update Playhard would be talking about is the technical service bulletin (TSB), which are internal, and not published on the Uconnect site. If I can get some more info about it, I can find it on my end and post it for you.

Well here's the shits. I get to the dealer and they plug my car in for the update and realize it's already been done. WTF. He apoligizes and said they did it the last time the car was in but forgot to record it in my file. So I asked him if I can do the hard reset. He's said go ahead it would be fine. So I figure why not as long as it's here just in case something crashed. I jumped in and did the reset. All I can say is wow. It made a huge difference in the speed of my system. Poked around a bit, searching the TSB yields a thread on the Hellcat forums, and the WK2 forums actually have the TSB PDF. Sounds a lot like the SIRI update to me, it even uses the USB stick to update the radio software. Perhaps the TSB was updated, while the software itself is the same?Looks like it's for 2015 models. If you go into your Settings, you can find the radio software version, I don't remember where it is off the top of my head...might actually even be in the navigation menu.
EDIT: read a little further in the TSB, it is indeed version 16.16.13, the Siri update available since April
It's not now, but my Service Advisor called today and has identified 2 TSBs related to the screen locking up. I will be taking the car in on Monday to have them do the reflash for these 2 TSBs and we will see how it goes. If I have any issues, I will be sure to let you know. Works on my 2016, but it did not fix my problemThe Dealer Mode and Screen Capture procedures work on my 2012. The Engineering Menu procedure does not work on my car. Also, the procedures only work on my car when the ignition button is in the ACC position ... not the RUN position. There may be a procedure to access the Engineering Menu for the 2012 but I have not discovered it yet.

Does this work on 2012 rt max ?With the 8.4 Uconnect you can enter Dealer Mode and Engineering Mode. I don't remember all the options of each mode but the Uconnect screen has the scroll bar on the side so you can scroll down through the options; 'Reset to Factory Default' is one of the options.
Engineering Menu:
Put the Start Button in ACC without starting the car.
Wait for the Uconnect screen to initialize and turn On
Push driver side climate control hard buttons (hot/cold ... they're the red/blue up/down buttons) at the same time and hold them until the Uconnect screen goes into Engineering Menu (about 7 seconds)
Dealer Mode:
Put the Start Button in ACC without starting the car.
Wait for the Uconnect screen to initialize and turn On
Push driver side climate control hard buttons (hot/cold ... they're the red/blue up/down buttons) at the same time, and also push the Front Defrost button, and hold them until the Uconnect screen goes into Dealer Mode (about 7 seconds)
Screen Capture:
If you want a screen capture while in Dealer Mode ...
Plug a blank USB stick into the USB port
Push driver side climate control hard buttons (hot/cold ... they're the red/blue up/down buttons) at the same time, and also push the Rear Defrost button, and hold them until the Uconnect screen displays the message "Screen shot has succeeded".
Screen capture may work while on the Engineering Menu but I have not tried it.

My phone on my uconnect is stuck in a hands free loading screen, and when I go to settings for phone/Bluetooth it won’t do anything cause if the phone part is stuck in like a limp mode so trying to get it reset, factory reset do something so I can use Bluetooth lol..2nd owning this carWhat are you trying to accomplish
